Green Tortoise Hostel

During the early 20th century, North Beach was filled with sports mania, and Joe DiMaggio was a part of it. He was also part of the team that won four World Series during the 1939-1940 season.

Throughout his career, DiMaggio made nine World Series appearances. When he retired in 1951, he was one of the best players in the league. His home run total was fifth in the company during that year.
