Eyelid Lift Before and After

Blepharoplasty won’t turn back time, but it can restore your youthful appearance and boost self-confidence. It may be suitable for individuals at various points in their lives. Find out the best info about لیفت پلک.

Before your procedure, a comprehensive medical exam and medication list may be necessary, including over-the-counter supplements that increase bleeding risk or may exacerbate blood clots.

Upper & Lower Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery (also known as blepharoplasty) can effectively address many of the signs of aging affecting both eyes and surrounding skin, including sagging or baggy eyelids, puffy eyes, and drooping corners of lower lids. By tightening muscles and eliminating fat deposits from underneath your lower lids, it gives your eyes a more open, youthful appearance.

Medication will be given to calm you before surgery, and an anesthetic will be supplied to alleviate discomfort throughout the procedure. A complete physical exam, including vision tests and photos from different angles, will also be taken so your doctor can plan the most suitable method for you. Certain medications that could increase bleeding, such as aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, and others), naproxen sodium (Aleve and Naprosyn), as well as some herbal supplements, must also be avoided prior to surgery.

After your surgery, you will spend at least a day or so recovering in a recovery room where staff will monitor you for complications. While you may experience some bruising and swelling initially, this should dissipate within a week with proper use of ice packs on both eyes for 10 minutes every hour on the first night and four or five times on subsequent days to reduce pain and swelling; also use prescribed eye drops and ointments as directed, avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity for one week and refrain from wearing contact lenses during this period to speed recovery time and ensure optimal recovery results.

Lower Blepharoplasty

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty can restore normal eyelid function while improving the aesthetics of your upper face. It removes excess skin, smoothes underlying muscles, tightens supporting structures, and repositions or eliminates fat surplus from surrounding structures – all performed as outpatient procedures under local or general anesthesia.

Below are before and after photos of a 37-year-old woman looking to reduce her under-eye bags/dark circles (left and right). She underwent cosmetic lower lid blepharoplasty using the transconjunctival approach with fat repositioning for more youthful-looking eyes; results were stunning as tiredness was obliterated, and she returned to all normal activities and light exercise within 7-10 days (though she should avoid jumping/running or using an elliptical machine for one month).

Dr. Cytryn can customize her lower lid blepharoplasty procedures to address the loss of facial volume that leaves lower eyelids, brow, and midface appearing hollowed or sunken (below left and right). When this occurs, fat repositioning techniques such as fat transfer may be employed in order to correct for this lack of volume – sometimes combined with forehead lifts or cheek filler injections for enhanced results.

Upper & Lower Brow Lift

Our forehead and brow areas are at the core of our facial features, making up nearly one-third of the total face surface area. When this area begins to sag, it can give us an exhausted or angry appearance, sometimes even impairing vision. A combination of brow lift surgery and eyelid surgery may restore this area to its youthful, natural state.

This lovely lady in her late 40s was dissatisfied with the lower eyelid “bags” and deep tear troughs, giving her a tired appearance. To remedy her predicament, she had lower blepharoplasty with fat grafting, which produced modest yet natural-looking improvements that left her appearing revitalized and invigorated.

Brow lifting can be achieved using either the small scar method (also referred to as endoscopic browlift) or through traditional long scalp incisions at the top of the head. If eyebrow elevation is of prime concern, the latter approach should be utilized. In contrast to its small scar counterpart, this method will ensure the eyebrow position does not return over time. Typically, this procedure is conducted under local anesthesia, with monitoring and sedation available should such be necessary. Fatty tissue is raised through the skin with a suction device and then repositioned or injected with local anesthetic and vasoconstrictive epinephrine to achieve the desired results. A small amount of bloody drainage may occur initially, as well as moderate discomfort, with any residual bruises taking up to 1-2 weeks to resolve. Patients are instructed to apply ice packs while maintaining an upright head position following this treatment.

Upper & Lower Lip Lift

As its name implies, lip lift surgery involves elevating the upper part of your lips to produce fuller and younger-looking lips. Furthermore, this cosmetic procedure reduces the distance between your nose and upper lip border in order to form more prominent cupid bows, further improving your smile and emphasizing delicate features on your face.

Under local anesthesia, this procedure takes place at your surgeon’s office. They will mark and numb the area according to a plan you collaborate on with them before extracting tissue with minimal to no bleeding, after which any remaining tissues will be closed with sutures to create an aesthetically pleasing result.

If you’re considering lip lift surgery, you must find a board-certified facial plastic surgeon with extensive training and experience. This will lower the risk of complications like bruising, swelling, and scarring and help you enjoy smooth results post-surgery. Furthermore, smoking or drinking alcohol in the weeks leading up to and postoperatively can interfere with anesthesia’s effectiveness and could increase risks significantly.

LiveFill, which uses soft tissue from within their bodies to augment lips, may be appropriate for some patients. It is often performed in tandem with other surgical or injectable treatments like rhinoplasty or facelift procedures.
