Micromax Note 1 Review

Among all the smartphone models on the market today, the Micromax Note 1 stands out with its impressive build quality, high-resolution camera, and powerful performance. However, if you are thinking about buying one, you might be wondering if it can meet your expectations. In this Micromax Note 1 review, we will look at the phone’s performance, build quality, and price. We will also compare it to the other Android devices in the market.

Video recording

Using a Micromax Note 1, you can record videos in a few ways. The first option is by tapping on the icon located on the notification shade. This will allow you to record the screen activity in Full HD. Alternatively, you can use the touchscreen to record your screen. This is an alternative method, and you can also change the resolution, frame rate, and input method.

There are a few bugs, however. For instance, there’s a three-second countdown on the screen. Then there’s a weird adaptive brightness setting. You can also record video with the camera, but the results are pale.

Another thing you’ll notice is that the camera isn’t very good at capturing highlights. The camera also struggles to maintain exposure. The images are also pale and have poor edge detection.

UI animations felt choppy

UI animations aren’t always the most exciting feature of an Android-powered smartphone. While they do a nice job of demonstrating the capabilities of the system, they can be a real drag on overall performance. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to turn off the animations. In the settings, you’ll find a section called “Drawing” that allows you to change the speed of the animations. The trick is in sizing up how much you want to shave off.

While it’s no secret that Micromax’s flagship, the IN 1 is a pretty good smartphone, it’s not all roses and unicorns. The company has improved upon its predecessor, the Micromax Infuse X, in some key areas. The biggest improvement is in the display. While it’s not quite on par with the competition, the display on the IN 1 is a notch above the rest of the pack.

Price comparison

Compared to Micromax IN 2C, Micromax Note 1 has better specifications and is priced at a lower rate. It has a better Camera and Battery capacity.

Micromax IN Note 1 is available in four variants. The most affordable variant is priced at Rs 10,999. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a powerful MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is powered by Android 10 OS. It is available in a variety of color options.

Micromax In Note 1 has a 16-megapixel front camera, while the rear camera is a 48-megapixel sensor. It features an f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth camera. It also has a 5000mAh battery. It is available in white and green color options.

Micromax IN Note 1 also supports a dual nano-sim, which means that you can have two SIM cards. It has a compass and proximity sensor. It also has a fingerprint sensor and a gyroscope.

Build quality

Whether you’re buying a new smartphone or upgrading to a new one, it’s important to know which ones are worth your money. One of the best places to start is with a look at the build quality of the Micromax Note 1.

This phone has a decent-sized 6.67-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. The display is also capable of producing deep blacks, which enhances your interaction with the screen.

The device also features a quad-camera arrangement on the back. This includes a 48MP sensor that can click 48MP shots by default. It’s also equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The Micromax Note 1 also has a fingerprint scanner at the rear. It also has a USB Type-C port. This phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It’s not the most powerful chip in the segment, but it’s capable of handling light multitasking and gaming.

Performance

Among the budget phones available in India, the Micromax Note 1 performs well for the price. It offers a stock Android OS, a Full HD+ display, and a Quad camera setup on the back. It runs on Android 10 and has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery. It comes with two storage options – 64GB and 128 GB. It is priced at $140 and $170, respectively.

Despite its low price, the Micromax Note 1 provides a clean, ad-free experience. However, it faces competitive online competition from OPPO and Xiaomi.

The screen is a 6.67-inch full-HD+ IPS display. It is bright enough to be seen in sunlight. The color reproduction is good and the viewing angles are decent. It also has a Night Light mode that adds a yellow tint to the screen.
