The Last Waltz Tour 2022

Robbie Robertson and Sebastian, together with Keith Wortman of Blackbird Presents, present The Last Waltz tour as an homage to The Band’s final concert from 1976 as captured in Martin Scorsese’s legendary documentary film of that name.

This year’s lineup features Warren Haynes, Don Was, Jamey Johnson, and Kathleen Edwards, as well as special guest Taj Mahal for performances at Oakland’s Fox Theater and Los Angeles’s Orpheum Theatre.

Warren Haynes

Warren Haynes is one of the most revered guitarists of his generation. He began his career with David Allan Coe in 1980 and later joined the Allman Brothers Band and other acts before founding Gov’t Mule with bassist Allen Woody and drummer Matt Abts in 1987.

Haynes has been an integral member of Phil Lesh and Friends since 1999, appearing with other surviving members of the Grateful Dead in various groupings. Additionally, he has released several solo acoustic albums.

Blackbird Presents revived The Last Waltz franchise with “The Last Waltz New Orleans,” a two-night concert event that sold out. Haynes and Don will lead an upcoming tour featuring Kathleen Edwards, Jamey Johnson, Anders Osborne, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Terence Higgins, Mark Mullins, as well as Allen Toussaint-arranged Levee Horns arrangements (compliments of Blackbird Presents).

Don Was

The Last Waltz Tour, a live celebration of The Band’s farewell concert from 1976 filmed for Martin Scorsese’s classic film, returns for its second year this November.
